RE-UNITED WITH OWNERS!!!
"Sandi" - 3-year old female RR. Separated from her family when their home in Gulfport, Mississippi, was washed away during Hurricane Katrina. She was taken in by several caring homes around Gulfport before eventually making her way to Ridgeback Rescue in May 2006. A friend of her family recognized her on our web site in August 2006 - a year after the storm - and alerted her owners, who were still living in a FEMA trailer. Sandi was quickly re-united with her dad during an emotional homecoming for both of them. Sandi was fostered by Ridgeback Rescue in Mississippi. Rescued May 2006 (ID1960)
